New generation ballast unit as required for the 180 series HID competition lamps from PIAA. Can be used with most HID setups for the ultimate in lightweight and performance power delivery be it for the road or your endurance race/rally car.

One of the recurring drawbacks of HID systems in the past has been the excessive weight of the starter and ballast units. These components ignite the electrodes that provide the intense and distinctive blaze of light.
